Targeted education of medical students to improve their attitudes toward autistic patients and self.
This study evaluated the impact of targeted education for medical students on their attitudes toward autistic patients. We compared 100 medical students who were in the pre-curricular phase of an undergraduate medical course who completed a questionnaire designed to measure attitudes toward autistic patients before and after their target education (between June and September 2003).
